Adoptmom is all about offering information, resources, contact details, help, support and guidance to anyone whose lives have been touched by adoption, unplanned pregnancy and fostering and all that goes with it.
As many of us who have adopted, placed or fostered already know, there are many ups and downs in the process and even in the years that follow. Sometimes you just need to speak to an outsider, someone who doesn’t know all the nitty gritty and the ins and outs of your story.

Now it’s my turn to write a testimonial! I met Angela about 3 years ago at the beginning of her adoption journey. She has walked a long and very difficult journey in her bid to become an adoptive mom. During her own personal journey, Angela started reaching out to others and offering support. She started the Adopt and Foster SA page on Facebook and it took off gaining a large membership very quickly. She also decided to formally study for a diploma in counselling and become more actively involved in helping people who feel alone and unsupported in their adoption or fostering journey. Angela has huge compassion, empathy and insight and I handpicked her to take over from me at Adoptmom for all those reasons.
