Terri Lailvaux is an adoptive mom of an 8 year old boy called Alex. She is also the author of a children’s story book about adoption called The Greatest Gift. This book is also available in Afrikaans, Die Grootste Geskenk and on demand in Xhosa, German, Italian and French.
Terri is a qualified counsellor who offers info sessions for people with any interest in adoption (pre or post) and is an accomplished public speaker.
With over 12 years teaching experience and all her experiences around infertility and adoption, she makes a wonderful presentation. Her style is relaxed, open, funny and often moving.
Terri’s passion is connecting people to each other. She has an extensive database of adoption agencies, social workers, clinical psychologists, support groups and adoptive parents and with all these connections can assist people with almost any questions.
